Overview
Ebglyss + tirzepatide is a combination of lebrikizumab (Ebglyss), a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting interleukin-13 (IL-13), and tirzepatide, a dual glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. Lebrikizumab is approved for the treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, where it blocks IL-13-mediated type-2 inflammation. Tirzepatide is approved for type 2 diabetes (Mounjaro) and chronic weight management (Zepbound). While Eli Lilly has explored other immunometabolic combinations (such as ixekizumab plus tirzepatide in psoriatic arthritis and plaque psoriasis), there is no active clinical development or approved product combining lebrikizumab and tirzepatide.
