Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ledenika is an immuno-oncology drug discovery program originally developed by Celsius Therapeutics and subsequently acquired by AbbVie in 2024. The program focuses on the development of monoclonal antibodies targeting specific myeloid cell populations within the tumor microenvironment of solid tumors. These targets were identified using Celsius's proprietary SCOPE (Single Cell Observation for Precision Effect) platform, which utilizes single-cell genomic analysis of hundreds of patient tissue samples to identify novel, cell-type-specific therapeutic targets. By targeting myeloid cells, the Ledenika program aims to overcome myeloid-mediated immune suppression and enhance the body's natural anti-tumor immune response.
