Overview

Lenidase is a phytotherapy agent and dietary supplement formulated to manage inflammation and edema, particularly following surgical procedures such as third molar extraction. It contains a combination of three active components: bromelain, a proteolytic enzyme derived from pineapple that modulates inflammatory mediators; escin, a triterpene saponin from horse chestnut that reduces capillary permeability and improves vascular tone; and Vaccinium myrtillus (blueberry) extract, which provides antioxidant anthocyanins to protect microcirculation. Developed by Shedir Pharma, Lenidase is used to alleviate postoperative swelling and pain by targeting the underlying mechanisms of tissue congestion and inflammatory response.
