Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LENTI-BC is a preclinical-stage, lentiviral vector-based therapeutic vaccine being developed by Theravectys for the treatment of breast cancer. Utilizing Theravectys's proprietary lentiviral vector vaccination platform, the vaccine is designed to deliver tumor-associated antigens directly to dendritic cells in vivo. This targeted delivery aims to overcome immune tolerance and stimulate a robust, long-lasting cellular immune response, specifically activating cytotoxic CD8+ T cells and CD4+ helper T cells to target and eliminate breast cancer cells.
