Lenti-HPV-07

Lenti-HPV-07 is a lentiviral vector-based therapeutic vaccine developed by TheraVectys and Institut Pasteur for the treatment of human papillomavirus (HPV)-induced cancers, specifically targeting oropharyngeal and cervical cancers caused by HPV16 or HPV18. The vaccine works as an immunostimulant, inducing a strong cellular immune response against the E6 and E7 antigens of HPV16 and HPV18. Preclinical studies demonstrated complete elimination of HPV-induced tumors in animal models, with robust anti-tumor cytotoxic CD8+ T cell responses, long-lasting immune memory, remodeling of the tumor microenvironment, elimination of metastases, and synergy with anti-PD1 antibodies. The ongoing Phase I/IIa clinical trial evaluates safety, immunogenicity, and preliminary efficacy in patients with recurrent/metastatic or newly diagnosed locally advanced cancers[1][2][5][6].
