Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lenti-PROST-02 is a preclinical-stage therapeutic cancer vaccine developed by Theravectys for the treatment of prostate cancer. It is a non-integrative lentiviral vector-based immunotherapy designed to encode clusters of T-cell immunodominant regions of human prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP) and prostate-specific antigen (PSA). By directly targeting and transducing dendritic cells, Lenti-PROST-02 triggers a potent, long-lasting cellular immune response, inducing poly-functional CD8+ T-cell effectors and remodeling the tumor microenvironment from 'cold' to 'hot' to eradicate prostate tumors and prevent relapse.
