LEO 39652 is a "dual-soft" small molecule phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor developed by LEO Pharma for topical treatment of atopic dermatitis. The compound was designed with ester functionalities to enable rapid inactivation in blood and liver, thereby reducing systemic side effects while maintaining stability and efficacy in the skin.
