Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A first-in-class humanized monoclonal neutralizing antibody targeting leptin. It is designed to disrupt the obesity-breast cancer axis by inhibiting leptin-mediated proliferation of estrogen receptor-positive (ER+) breast cancer cells, particularly those resistant to endocrine therapy (ET) and CDK4/6 inhibitors. In preclinical xenograft models, it has demonstrated the ability to inhibit tumor growth as a single agent and show synergy when combined with endotrophin antibodies or palbociclib.
