Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lespeflan is a herbal pharmaceutical product developed and manufactured by the Russian company Dalkhimpharm. It is an extract derived from the shoots of *Lespedeza bicolor*, containing a complex of bioflavonoids that provide hypoazotemic and diuretic effects. The drug is primarily indicated for the treatment of chronic renal failure, particularly in the compensation and early stages of intermittent azotemia. It works by increasing glomerular filtration and facilitating the excretion of nitrogenous metabolic waste products, such as urea and creatinine, from the blood. Lespeflan is typically administered orally as a liquid extract.
