Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LetiCaderm is a topical veterinary skincare line developed by LETI Pharma (Leti) as part of their LETI+Derma dermatological product range for companion animals. It is specifically designed to manage atopic skin conditions in dogs and cats by addressing skin barrier dysfunction and lipid metabolism disorders. The formulation contains a combination of scientifically selected active ingredients: polidocanol, which acts as an antipruritic agent; myristyl phospho-malate, a sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) analogue that stimulates the synthesis of filaggrin and ceramides; essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acid) that serve as precursors for ceramide 1; and pomegranate polyphenols for antioxidant and antimicrobial support. LetiCaderm is used as an over-the-counter (OTC) product to soothe pruritus, restore the epidermal barrier, protect against irritants, and control pathogen overgrowth in animals with atopic dermatitis.
