Overview

Letrozole + uFSH is a combination therapy used for ovarian stimulation in infertility treatment. Letrozole is an aromatase inhibitor that prevents the conversion of an drogens to estrogens, leading to accumulation of androgens in ovarian follicles and enhanced FSH receptor expression. When combined with uFSH (urinary Follicle Stimulating Hormone), this protocol improves follicular development, increases endometrial thickness, and significantly enhances pregnancy and live birth rates compared to other protocols. It is particularly effective for women with PCOS and poor responders to conventional stimulation protocols.
