Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LEUKOPET is a first-in-class radiopharmaceutical PET imaging agent being developed by iSeek Biopharma for the detection and monitoring of infection and inflammation. The agent is a proprietary radiolabeled ligand designed to target the leukocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1) receptor, which is expressed on the surface of leukocytes, particularly activated lymphocytes. By binding to LFA-1, LEUKOPET enables the real-time visualization and quantification of immune cell trafficking and accumulation at sites of disease using positron emission tomography (PET). This precision diagnostic tool is currently in Phase 1 clinical development and aims to provide a non-invasive method for identifying active sites of infection and inflammatory processes.
