Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Levellor is a transdermal, spray-on formulation of recombinant human insulin developed by Transdermal Delivery Solutions Corp (TDSC) and later acquired by InsuLife. It utilizes the proprietary HypoSpray technology, which is designed to alter the lipid layers of the skin to facilitate the systemic delivery of insulin without the use of needles. The system is intended to provide dose-dependent glucose control for the treatment of diabetes mellitus. Clinical development has included a Phase 2 randomized, dose-ranging study evaluating its glucose-lowering effects and tolerability in healthy adult volunteers.
