Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Levin Health CBD+ is an oral medicinal cannabis oil developed by Levin Health Limited, an Australian sports science and medical cannabis company based in Melbourne. The product's primary active ingredient is cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive phytocannabinoid, with each 30 mL bottle containing approximately 100 mg/mL of CBD and less than 1 mg/mL of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The cannabinoids are extracted from plant-dried cannabis and diluted in medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil. As a plant-derived cannabinoid oil, its modality is a botanical/natural product small molecule. CBD's primary biological targets include the endocannabinoid system, particularly cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2), as well as other receptors such as TRPV1. The drug is indicated for chronic musculoskeletal pain, particularly in treatment-resistant cases, and was studied in a completed 12-week observational outpatient study in Australia. It is available only through Australia's Special Access Scheme (SAS) and is manufactured in GMP-certified facilities using 100% Australian-grown cannabis.
