Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LF-CAR-020 is a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) cell therapy being developed by Shanghai LIFE Medical Science and Technology for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapy involves the genetic modification of immune cells (typically T cells) using a lentiviral vector to express a CAR directed against a specific, though currently undisclosed, tumor-associated antigen. By engineering the patient's immune cells to recognize and attack malignant cells, LF-CAR-020 aims to provide a targeted immunotherapy for various solid malignancies. It is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation.
