Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LF-MSC-GT010 is an investigational cell-based gene therapy developed by Shanghai LIFE Medical Science and Technology for the treatment of coronary heart disease and heart failure. The therapy utilizes mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) as a delivery vehicle, which are genetically modified ex vivo using a lentiviral vector to express therapeutic genes. This approach combines the inherent regenerative and immunomodulatory properties of MSCs with the targeted effects of gene therapy to promote myocardial repair and improve cardiac function. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development through investigator-initiated trials (IIT).
