LG-0317

LG-0317 is an investigational, orally bioavailable small molecule agonist of the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R), developed by LinGang Laboratory (Shanghai LinGang Laboratory). As a GLP-1R agonist, it mimics the physiological effects of the incretin hormone GLP-1, which includes stimulating insulin secretion in a glucose-dependent manner, inhibiting glucagon release, and slowing gastric emptying to improve glycemic control and promote weight loss. LG-0317 is being developed as a potential oral alternative to injectable GLP-1 therapies for the treatment of metabolic conditions such as type 2 diabetes and obesity. It is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical trials in China to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profile in healthy participants.
