Overview

LHNVD-105 is an adjuvanted, universal (broadly reactive) influenza vaccine candidate developed using a composite peptide platform. The vaccine incorporates conserved peptides from three key components of the influenza virus—hemagglutinin (HA), neuraminidase (NA), and matrix protein—combined with a T-cell epitope to generate neutralizing antibodies and induce a balanced cytokine response. This design aims to provide broad strain coverage and long-lasting protection against both seasonal and pandemic human, avian, and swine influenza viruses. LHNVD-105 is formulated with advanced adjuvants such as ALFQ or AddaVax to enhance immunogenicity. Preclinical studies have shown that it induces robust, durable immune responses across multiple influenza subtypes in animal models, with no observed reactogenicity. The vaccine is cost-effective, highly scalable in manufacturing, does not require ultra-low temperature storage, and can be administered via intramuscular or intradermal routes[1][5][6][7][8].
