Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**LHNVD-201** is a preclinical unconjugated synthetic peptide vaccine candidate developed by Longhorn Vaccines and Diagnostics to prevent COVID-19, influenza, and their co-infections. The vaccine incorporates highly conserved epitopes from influenza neuraminidase and matrix proteins M1/M2, together with SARS-CoV-2 spike protein and RNA polymerase. In mouse studies, peptide formulations generated durable antibody responses and neutralizing activity against influenza viruses and SARS-CoV-2; results were presented at the 17th Vaccine Congress in Glasgow in September 2023.
