Overview
Liang Ge San, or Cool the Diaphragm Powder, is a traditional Chinese medicine formula used to clear Heat and resolve toxicity. It is primarily composed of eight herbs, including Da Huang (Rhubarb), Mang Xiao (Mirabilite), Gan Cao (Licorice Root), Huang Qin (Scutellaria), Zhi Zi (Gardenia), Lian Qiao (Forsythia), Bo He (Mint), and Dan Zhu Ye (Lophatherum). The formula is indicated for conditions such as fever, sore throat, constipation, and skin disorders by draining Fire and unblocking the bowels. It is contraindicated during pregnancy and for weak patients.
