Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Liangxue Huayu Fang is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by the Shanghai Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. It is designed based on the TCM principles of "cooling the blood" (Liangxue) and "resolving blood stasis" (Huayu), targeting the underlying damp-heat and blood-heat syndromes common in inflammatory skin conditions. The formula is typically administered as oral granules. It is currently being investigated in clinical research as an add-on therapy for the treatment of cutaneous vasculitis, specifically in patients presenting with TCM damp-heat syndrome, to evaluate its efficacy in reducing skin lesions and preventing recurrence.
