Liangyuan Loquat Leaf Paste

Liangyuan Loquat Leaf Paste (良园枇杷叶膏) is an approved Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) oral preparation developed by Hubei Wushi Pharmaceutical. It is formulated as a traditional herbal paste (decoction paste) and has been designated as a 'National Protected Traditional Chinese Medicine Variety' in China. The formulation contains a mixture of botanical extracts, including loquat leaves (Eriobotrya japonica), dried reed root, platycodon, aster, tangerine peel, and licorice extract, along with ephedrine hydrochloride. It is indicated for the treatment of respiratory conditions such as cough, bronchitis, asthma, and wind-heat common cold by clearing the lungs, resolving phlegm, and relieving cough.
