Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lianhua Qingke Granules is a proprietary Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) developed by Shijiazhuang Yiling Pharmaceutical. Formulated based on the "Collateral Disease" theory, it is designed to treat respiratory conditions by clearing lung heat, resolving phlegm, and relieving cough. The formulation is primarily indicated for acute bronchitis, particularly cases characterized by the phlegm-heat obstructing lung syndrome. It has also been widely utilized in China for the management of cough and sputum production associated with COVID-19 and other viral respiratory infections. The granules consist of a complex mixture of herbal extracts, including Ephedrae Herba and Armeniacae Semen Amarum, which are thought to work synergistically to reduce airway inflammation and improve mucociliary clearance.
