Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Liberase is a proprietary blend of highly purified collagenases (isoforms I and II) and neutral proteases (such as thermolysin or dispase), formulated for efficient and gentle dissociation of tissues into viable single cells. The enzyme blends are optimized to maximize cell yield and viability while minimizing damage to cell surface proteins. Different formulations (e.g., TM, TL, TH) vary in their ratio of collagenases to neutral proteases for specific tissue types or dissociation requirements. The product is widely used in research applications such as cell isolation from various tissues (including tumor tissue), tissue engineering, regenerative medicine research, and stem cell isolation[1][2][4][5][6][7][8]. It is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
