**Orvex** is a co-packaged topical analgesic kit marketed by Florrax Pharmaceutical that contains a 5% lidocaine medicated patch and a 6% menthol roll-on gel. Lidocaine is an amide local anesthetic that blocks voltage-gated sodium channels in peripheral sensory nerves, reducing pain-signal conduction. Menthol produces a cooling counterirritant effect principally through activation of TRPM8 sensory ion channels.
