limaprost + pregabalin

Limaprost + pregabalin is a combination therapy consisting of two pharmacological agents used primarily for the management of symptoms in lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS), particularly leg pain and neuropathic pain. Limaprost is a prostaglandin E1 (PGE1) analog that works mainly as a vasodilator improving microcirculation and potentially alleviating ischemia-related symptoms. Pregabalin is a structural analog of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) that acts centrally as an inhibitor of voltage-gated calcium channels (specifically, the alpha-2-delta subunit), thereby decreasing neurotransmitter release and reducing neuropathic pain. The combination targets both the vascular and neuropathic components of LSS. Clinical studies have shown that the combination does not provide significant additional benefit for disability or pain relief compared to monotherapy with either agent[1][3][4].
