Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Limertinib + sintilimab** is an investigational combination therapy for cancer. Limertinib is an orally administered, third-generation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) developed primarily for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with EGFR mutations. Sintilimab is a recombinant, fully human anti-programmed death 1 (PD-1) monoclonal antibody that blocks PD-1 from binding to its ligands, enhancing immune-mediated antitumor activity. The combination is being studied as neoadjuvant therapy, often in conjunction with chemotherapy, for resectable EGFR-mutant NSCLC. Limertinib targets mutant forms of EGFR, inhibiting tumor growth signaling, while sintilimab inhibits the PD-1 pathway, promoting T-cell–mediated immune response against tumor cells. Both are being developed and manufactured primarily by Innovent and ASK Pharm in China[3][4][5][7][8].
