Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LINC01410 inhibitors are therapeutic agents designed to target and downregulate the long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) LINC01410. LINC01410 is an oncogenic lncRNA that is overexpressed in various malignancies, including multiple myeloma, colon cancer, gastric cancer, and gallbladder cancer, where it promotes tumor cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and cell cycle progression. In multiple myeloma, LINC01410 interacts with the minichromosome maintenance (MCM) complex (specifically subunits MCM4, MCM5, and MCM7) to modulate the DNA replication machinery. Experimental approaches to inhibit LINC01410 include antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs), such as gapmeRs, and small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) to induce RNAseH1-mediated or RNAi-mediated degradation of the transcript.
