Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LinCAR-T 19 is an investigational CAR-T cell therapy targeting CD19, a surface antigen highly expressed on malignant B cells in various hematological cancers, most notably B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and B-cell lymphomas. CAR-T therapies genetically engineer T cells to express a chimeric antigen receptor specific for CD19, enabling direct recognition and lysis of CD19-expressing cancer cells. This approach is a form of adoptive cellular immunotherapy and has revolutionized treatment for refractory or relapsed B-cell malignancies. LinCAR-T 19 represents a specific formulation or platform within the CD19-targeting CAR-T therapy category. While approved CD19 CAR-T therapies exist, LinCAR-T 19 is not among the currently FDA-approved products and appears to be in earlier stages of clinical investigation.
