Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Linfonorm is a multi-ingredient nutraceutical product developed by Amnol, specifically formulated for the management of lymphatic and venous circulation disorders within the field of lymphology. The formulation typically combines bioflavonoids, such as diosmin and rutin, with a standardized extract of Melilotus officinalis (sweet clover) containing coumarin. These components work synergistically to improve microcirculation and lymphatic function. Diosmin and rutin act as vasoprotective agents that increase venous tone and reduce capillary permeability and fragility. Coumarin enhances lymphatic drainage by stimulating the proteolytic activity of macrophages, which facilitates the breakdown and removal of high-protein interstitial fluid characteristic of lymphedema. Linfonorm is primarily used as a supportive treatment for lymphedema and chronic venous insufficiency to reduce edema and improve microvascular health.
