Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LINK-004 is a preclinical-stage necrosis inhibitor being developed by LinkGevity, a UK-based AI-driven drug discovery company. It is a component of the company's Anti-Necrotics™ platform, which utilizes the proprietary 'Blueprint Theory of Aging' to identify and target biological pathways involved in uncontrolled cell death (necrosis). LINK-004 is reported to block necrosis by approximately 90% and is currently in the lead optimization phase for an undisclosed therapeutic indication. The Anti-Necrotics™ platform is being developed for a range of applications, including kidney disease, organ preservation, and tissue engineering. LinkGevity has received support from Innovate UK, the Francis Crick Institute, and was selected for NASA's SPACE-H accelerator program.
