Liobif is a probiotic lactopreparation developed and manufactured by the Torlak Institute in Serbia. The active ingredient is **Lactobacillus rhamnosus LB-64**, a natural human strain isolated from the digestive tract of healthy infants. This probiotic is designed to modulate the gut microbiota and support immune function. It is indicated for the prevention and treatment of intestinal infections, diarrhea in infants, children, and adults, and for early gut colonization in newborns. Marketed for over 55 years, Liobif is available as a dietary supplement in both ampoule and tablet formulations. The ampoules contain pure lyophilized L. rhamnosus without preservatives, additives, or flavorings, making it suitable for use from the first day of life, including for premature babies.
