Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lioliv-Biolik (often referred to as Liolif-Biolik) is a liposomal hepatoprotective combination drug developed and manufactured by Farmstandart-Biolik. It is formulated as a lyophilized powder for the preparation of an emulsion for intravenous injection. The drug contains two active ingredients: lecithin-standard (a source of essential phospholipids) and antral (aluminum anthranilate, a synthetic hepatoprotective agent). Lioliv-Biolik is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic hepatitis of various etiologies (including viral hepatitis), benign hyperbilirubinemia, and liver cirrhosis in adults and children aged 12 years and older. It acts by inhibiting lipid peroxidation, stabilizing hepatocyte membranes, and promoting liver regeneration.
