Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lipikar Balm AP, also known as Lipikar Baume AP+M, is a dermo-cosmetic topical product developed by Cosmetique Active International (part of La Roche-Posay/L'Oréal). It functions as an intensive emollient and skin barrier function restorer, primarily indicated for the management and prevention of atopic dermatitis, xerosis, and extremely dry, eczema-prone, or allergy-prone skin. Its formulation includes key ingredients such as Niacinamide, Shea Butter, and Aqua Posae Filiformis (or AP+M Technology), which collectively work to rebalance the skin microbiome, soothe itching, reduce inflammation, and restore the skin's protective barrier. It is suitable for all ages, including infants, children, and adults, and is applied topically.
