Overview
LipoBloc is a phytosterol-based dietary supplement developed by AlphaRx for the management of elevated cholesterol levels. The product utilizes a proprietary clinical delivery system consisting of lecithin micelles to enhance the solubility and bioavailability of phytosterols compared to traditional powder forms. Phytosterols work by competitively binding to cholesterol absorption sites in the small intestine, thereby reducing the absorption of dietary and biliary cholesterol and lowering serum total and LDL cholesterol levels.
