Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lipohyal is a sterile ophthalmic solution formulated for the management of dry eye syndrome and the protection of the ocular surface. It is a combination product containing sodium hyaluronate, a mucomimetic and lubricating polymer, and hydrogenated phospholipids (liposomes). The sodium hyaluronate component provides long-lasting lubrication and hydration to the corneal and conjunctival epithelium, while the liposomes help stabilize and restore the lipid layer of the tear film, reducing tear evaporation. This dual action provides relief from symptoms such as itching, burning, and foreign body sensations caused by environmental factors, surgery, or prolonged screen use. In Vietnam, the product is distributed by TV TPI.
