Liposomal β-nicotinamide mononucleotide is a formulation of β-nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) encapsulated within liposomes to enhance its bioavailability and stability. NMN is a direct precursor to nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), an essential coenzyme involved in cellular energy metabolism, DNA repair, and regulation of aging processes. Supplementation with NMN has been shown in animal studies and human clinical trials to increase NAD+ levels in blood and tissues, improve insulin sensitivity, support mitochondrial function, reduce age-related metabolic decline, and potentially ameliorate organ damage associated with sepsis or metabolic disorders. The liposomal delivery system aims to further improve the absorption of NMN when administered orally. Clinical studies indicate that oral NMN supplementation up to 900 mg daily is safe and well tolerated[3][5][6][8].
