Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lipovax-Fg115-cancer is a preclinical-stage lipid-based vaccine developed by Lipotek for the treatment of cancer. The candidate is built upon Lipotek's proprietary **LipoVax** platform, which utilizes liposomes to co-deliver recombinant antigens and adjuvants directly to dendritic cells. The technology typically employs a metal-chelating lipid (such as NTA-DOGS) to facilitate the stable attachment of His-tagged antigens to the liposome surface, alongside incorporated Toll-like receptor (TLR) agonists to enhance immunogenicity. By targeting antigen-presenting cells, the vaccine aims to stimulate a robust T-cell-mediated immune response against tumor cells. As of the latest pipeline updates, the program has achieved proof-of-concept in preclinical models.
