Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lipovax-Fg15-malaria is a preclinical-stage liposome-based vaccine developed by Lipotek Pty Ltd for the prevention of malaria. It is built on the Lipovax-Fg115 platform, which uses liposomes to deliver recombinant malaria antigens. The technology incorporates proprietary Fg115 (or Fg15) molecules that function as Toll-like receptor 5 (TLR5) agonists, facilitating the targeting and activation of dendritic cells to elicit a robust immune response. Antigens are attached to the liposome surface using histidine tags. Development of this candidate appears to have ceased, with no active reports identified since approximately 2020.
