Liqi Huatan Huoxue formula

Liqi Huatan Huoxue formula is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) multi-herbal formulation used primarily for the treatment of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), atherosclerosis, and coronary microvascular disease. The formula combines three TCM principles—Liqi (regulating Qi), Huatan (resolving phlegm), and Huoxue (invigorating blood circulation)—and typically contains herbs such as Astragali Radix, Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix, Quinquefolium Panax, Cocos Wolf Poria, Atractylodis Rhizoma, Rosea Rhodiola for Yiqi; Wallichii Ligusticum, Notoginseng Radix, Paeoniae Rubra Radix for promoting blood circulation; and Kirilowii Maxim Trichosanthes, Pinelliae Rhizama for resolving phlegm[3].
