Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Liqihuoxue Diwan is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) product formulated as dripping pills, primarily indicated for the treatment of chronic stable angina pectoris and coronary heart disease. The formulation is based on the therapeutic principles of regulating Qi (Liqi) and promoting blood circulation to remove stasis (Huoxue). It typically contains extracts from *Salvia miltiorrhiza* (Danshen), *Panax notoginseng* (Sanqi), *Dalbergia odorifera* (Jiangxiang), and synthetic borneol. These components are recognized for their ability to improve myocardial ischemia, exert anti-platelet effects, and induce vasodilation. The drug has been the subject of Phase IV clinical research in China, notably sponsored by Shanghai Changzheng Hospital and manufactured by Shanghai Leiyunshang Pharmaceutical.
