Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Liquimax** is a non-specific trade name used by Epsilon Biotech for at least two different products in India. **Liquimax Cream** contains **luliconazole 1%**, a topical imidazole antifungal used for dermatophyte skin infections including tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis. Luliconazole inhibits fungal ergosterol biosynthesis, compromising the fungal cell membrane. Separately, **Liquimax Capsules** contain elemental calcium plus cholecalciferol and are used as a calcium and vitamin D nutritional supplement for deficiency states and bone-health support. These products are chemically and pharmacologically distinct and should not be merged as one drug entity.
