lisinopril + placebo

Lisinopril + placebo refers to a specific treatment arm used in GlaxoSmithKline's Phase 3 clinical trial (NCT00624065, COR111096) for the treatment of Stage 1 or 2 essential hypertension. In this arm, patients received lisinopril, a small molecule angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, along with a placebo designed to match the appearance of carvedilol CR.
