Overview

Litapiprant is a small molecule drug that acts as an antagonist of the chemoattractant receptor homologous molecule expressed on Th2 cells (CRTH2), also known as the prostaglandin D2 (PGD2) receptor. It is being developed primarily for the treatment of asthma and other allergic airway inflammatory conditions. The drug works by inhibiting CRTH2/PGD2 receptor signaling, which plays a key role in mediating inflammation and immune responses associated with allergic diseases. Litapiprant is under development by Sunshine Lake Pharma[1][3][5].
