Overview

Liu Jiaxiang Qi-Yin concentration granules (also known as Liu Jiaxiang Qi-Yin Recipe or Yiqi Yangyin Jiedu Decoction) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by Professor Liu Jiaxiang at Longhua Hospital affiliated with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Formulated based on the principles of "strengthening the health Qi to treat cancer," the recipe is designed to address Qi and Yin deficiency in cancer patients. It typically contains a mixture of botanical extracts, including milk vetch root (Astragalus), glehnia root, asparagus root, lilyturf root, glossy privet fruit, spikemoss herb, Chinese sage herb, and manyleaf paris rhizome. The granules are primarily evaluated as an adjuvant therapy to delay recurrence and metastasis, improve quality of life, and modulate immune function in patients with stage IIIA non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) after radical resection and adjuvant chemotherapy.
