Overview
Liverplex B is an over-the-counter (OTC) oral syrup developed and manufactured by Kama Industries (an Aspen Pharmacare company). It is formulated as a combination of liver extract, thiamine hydrochloride (Vitamin B1), sodium glycerophosphate, potassium glycerophosphate, manganese sulphate, and ferric ammonium citrate. The adult formulation also contains caffeine citrate. Liverplex B is indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, stimulation of appetite, and the restoration of energy and vitality following illness.
