Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LiveSpo Navax is a nasal spray probiotic formulation containing spores of *Bacillus subtilis* and *Bacillus clausii*. Developed by AnaBio Technologies, it is designed for the prevention and supportive treatment of acute respiratory tract infections (ARTIs), including acute rhinosinusitis (ARS), acute otitis media (AOM), and infections caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). The product delivers high concentrations of Bacillus spores directly to the nasal mucosa, where they germinate into vegetative cells that compete with pathogenic microorganisms for adhesion sites and nutrients. This microbial competition, combined with the secretion of antimicrobial substances and modulation of the local immune response, helps to reduce inflammation and viral load in the respiratory tract. A lower-concentration variant, LiveSpo Navax Kid, is specifically formulated for pediatric use.
