Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Liveyon Pure is a stem cell concentrate derived from human umbilical cord blood, containing live total nucleated cells. Developed by Liveyon Labs Inc., it was marketed for the treatment of orthopedic conditions, including joint, back, and knee pain, through intra-articular injection. The product was intended to promote the regeneration of bone, muscle, and cartilage by releasing reparative growth factors and proteins. In December 2019, the FDA issued a warning letter classifying the product as an unapproved biological drug and citing significant manufacturing violations, leading to the suspension of its sales.
