Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Livionex CVI Topical Treatment is a topical pharmaceutical candidate developed by Livionex for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) and associated conditions, including stasis dermatitis, lower leg edema, and venous ulcers. The formulation utilizes a proprietary technology designed to target and modulate intracellular iron and calcium ions, which are key drivers of inflammation and blood pooling in the lower extremities. By addressing these ionic imbalances, the treatment aims to alleviate the underlying pathophysiology of CVI and promote healing of venous ulcers. It is currently undergoing Phase 1/2 clinical evaluation.
