Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lizi Compound Capsule is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) compound preparation developed by The Affiliated Hospital of Hunan Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is primarily investigated for the treatment of sepsis-associated acute lung injury (SALI) and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). The formulation is based on TCM principles to regulate the body's response to systemic inflammation and protect lung tissue. In clinical studies, it is administered alongside conventional care to evaluate its efficacy in improving clinical outcomes and safety in adult patients with SALI. The preparation is also referred to as Lizi Compound Decoction in some clinical contexts.
